Thirteen years ago I moved from northern California to Virginia to enhance my daughter’s dream of riding for the United States in world class 3-day events.  The result of our eastward relocation was the formation of my business, Crows Ear Farm, Inc., established in January 2001, in order to provide upper level prospects to the United States’ most noteworthy riders.

Although I buy horses from race tracks throughout the United States, 80% of the horses I select come from various California race tracks and are re-trained to be quality sport horses.  Returning home to California serves a number of purposes, 1) it increases my book of customers from east coast and international to include west coast clientele, 2) it keeps me more current on available horses, and 3) it brings me back into the family fold.

I plan on running Crow’s Ear Farm in the same manner I have for the past 9 years.  My goal remains the same; to mount U.S. Olympic riders on exceptional California thoroughbred athletes.

The new home of Crow’s Ear Farm in Georgetown, California is excellently located – situated between Southern California and Washington - and serves to continue extracting fabulous prospects from the west coast race tracks.
